When I was out exercising this morning, I was thinking about something. Do y’all remember that Yah had us Israylites on a “diet”? I say “diet” for the lack of a better word. We ate mostly manna and water (ahem and the occasional quail). He was weening us off Egyptian food, disciplining us and teaching us to depend on Him. But I just read in Nehemiyah 9:25 where He says that the Israylites grew fat again once we got into the land. The food was abundant there. Will Yah ween us away from Babylon food? (Rhetorical)
I have a close family member who is very sick right now. Please pray to Yah with me that she be healed. Please pray with me for Yah to have mercy upon her.
Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me. Let them bring me to Your Set-apart hill and to Your tabernacle. HalleluYah. Psalm 43:3.
Shabbat Shalom y’all. I bought a box of cards about a month ago to pass out to the local Hebrews that I meet. Click on the image to read the card. The image above is the front of the card. Do you like the card? Is there anything I should add or change?
This is the back of the card. Click on the image to read it. I was going to print up flyers but I notice that people quickly throw flyers away and are slow(er) to throw away cards (well speaking for myself). I tend to hold on to cards that are given to me. Also I’m probably going to get brochures made for the blessedwomanofyah site so that it is easier for first time readers to navigate. HalleluYAH. #marketing
If you humbly ask Yah to open your eyes, you will see Yah at work all around you. Psalm 69:32 states, ‘The humble will see their Father at work and be glad. Let all who seek Yah’s help live in joy.’
Yah reveals His plans to us by His Set-Apart Spirit. Shaul, in First Corinthians 2:10 taught us that we can ask Yah to reveal Himself and His work to us. ‘But we know these things because Yah has revealed them to us by His Spirit and His Spirit searches out everything and shows us even Yah’s deep secrets.
Depart from evil and do good. Seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of Yah are on the righteous and His ears are open to their cry. The face of the Most High is against those who do evil, to cut the remembrance of them from the earth. The righteous cry out and Yah hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. HalleluYAH. Psalm 34:14-17.
Yesterday, a young lady on my job was telling me that she has been depressed about a break-up. We haven’t seen each other in about two weeks. We talked for a few minutes. I’m reminded of this scripture:
The psalm writer acknowledged in Psalm 42:1-2 that we are all made with an emptiness that only Yah can fill. As the deer pants for streams of water, so I long for you, O Yah. I thirst for Yah, the living Yah. When can I come and stand before Him?
