Jealous Husband

Yah said He doesn’t want us to put gods before Him. Exodus 20:1-3, And Yah spoke all these words, saying: I am Yah your Power who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me.  In Exodus 20:5 Yah says He is jealous when we serve other gods. He is jealous as a Husband over His wife Hosea 2:16-17. And He doesn’t want us to even speak the names of baals (gods) like a husband would not want his wife to speak of another man.

I made this soap some time in 2009 and forgot about it until last week. It was the last batch that I made. I playfully called it ‘man soap’ because I used a men’s fragrance to perfume it. I gave some away to my Dad, Dad’s friend and Nephew. Well, finding this soap in my supplies makes me want to start making soap again. Last night I was looking in my soap making books and even ordered some books from the library. I really want to make olive oil soap (castille soap) next. *The camera date is wrong, I took this pic this morning.

Abba Yah

Yahoshua said, Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will. Mark 14:36

Yahoshua was pleading for Yah to hear Him. The word Abba is an Aramaic word used by children. The word ‘father’ does not exist  in Hebrew. Father is a English word. The best English translation is something like “Daddy” or “My Daddy”. Yahoshua exalts Yah, saying all thing are possible for You and what You want will be done. HalleluYah

Whatz Bloomin’

The first Gardenia this year and it smells like perfume back here! My whatz is like your whatz up, hee-hee.

I planted the daylilies this morning. They will bloom next year. The back left is Liatris and the front right white flowers are Zinnia, a annual. I don’t buy many annuals. I like perennials because they last for many years. But this annual was very pretty to me.

My Bubbling Brown Sugar is Here!

I did some ‘good deeds’ and these bubbling brown sugar daylilies were my payment! They are from Earylbird Daylily Nursury in Kansas. The owner gifted me the sierra gold daylily also. I thought that was nice of her. I am excited about these new specimens! Todah Yah! Oh yeah, the date on the camera is wrong I didn’t have time to program, I had to get to watering!

Yahoshua Laments

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kill the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings but you were not willing! See! Your house is left to you desolate. For I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, Blessed is He who comes in the name of Yah! Matthew 23:37-39

Morning Surprises!

This morning when I went outback to water, my morning glory was finally blooming, Praise Yah.  This species is called heavenly blue. It looks better in person.

There are about 4 or so cucumbers so far and the plant is loaded with blooms.

I was very surprised to see a cantaloupe already growing.  I didn’t see it before.

My peace lily at the front door: The blooms are huge this year. I think because I put cow manure on them for the first time around February.

Later on I’m cooking Macroni and cheese. I’ll be back with a picture, LOL!

3:40 p.m. finished Mac & Cheese, South Carolina style! Cooked just the way grandmom and mom cook it, until golden brown on top. We are having roasted turkey breast too. It smells very good in here!

Yah’s Promised Visit

…Then they said to him, “Where is Sarah your wife?” So he said, “Here, in the tent.” And He said, “I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son.” (Sarah was listening in the tent door which was behind him.) Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age; and Sarah had passed the age of childbearing. Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying “After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my master (Abraham) being old also?” And Yah said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, “Shall I surely bear a Child, since I am old?” “Is anything too hard for Yah? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.” But Sarah denied it saying, “I did not laugh,” for she was afraid. And He said, “No, but you did laugh!” Genesis 18:9-15

And Yah visited Sarah as He had said and Yah did for Sarah as He had spoken. For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which Yah had spoken to him. And Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him–whom Sarah bore to him–Isaac (Yitshaq). Then Abraham circumcised the son Isaac when he was eight days old as Yah had commanded him. Now Abraham was one hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him. And Sarah said, “Yah has made me laugh and all who hear will laugh with me.” She also said, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age.” Genesis 21:1-7
