Excerpt from a book that I am reading:
(Yah) created us as relational beings. He wants us to turn to other people for friendship, support and help. This truth is revealed early in scripture, in Genesis 2:18, when Yah created a companion for Adam.
And the Most High said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a companion (helper) who will help him.”
In Psalm 68:6, David praised Yah for the way He cares for lonely people.
Yah places the lonely in families. He sets the prisoners free and gives them joy. But for rebels, there is only famine and distress.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 gives advice to the lonely—reach out to others for help. Look for friends who can comfort you and help you through your loneliness.
Two people can accomplish more than twice as much as one. They get a better return for their labor. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But people who are alone when they fall are in real trouble.
Even the best of friends sometimes fail us in our time of need but Yah never fails. Peter (Kepha) reminds us in 1 Kepha 5:12 that Yah will be with us and will help us” no matter what happens.
I have written this short letter to you with the help of Silas, whom I consider a faithful brother. My purpose in writing is to encourage you and assure you that the grace of Yah is with you no matter what happens.
Do you ever feel forgotten, alone in a crowd, in the increasing pace of life, or even in the culture of the corporation? Feeling lonely and anonymous, you may wonder whether anybody knows or cares.
Yah does. He remembers your name and His promise to be with you, to guide you and to bring you home. Now it’s up to you to remember your Master and His love for you and then to rest secure and hope (trust) in him.
Yah encouraged lonely Yliyah to make friends with Ylishua, 1 Kings 19:14-18
Yah does not crush the lonely, Isaiah 42:1-7
Yahoshua is always with you, Mattithyah 28:20
